Translating
The art of translation is more than just substituting one language for another. To translate is to get into the head of another writer, with all their idiosyncrasies, their cultural lives, and goals. Every piece of translation I work on takes this into account.

Editing
Every edit is, at the end of the day, the pursuit of clarity. Whether an in-depth edit or copy-edit, my goal as an editor is to make the writer’s argument as comprehensible and readable as possible.

Writing
I have yet to meet a writing brief that doesn’t have a story hidden within it. The key to good copy has always been understanding the story that the client would like to tell. This is my ultimate goal when writing: finding and bringing the client’s narrative to life.
